I just received my certificate of eligibility in the mail, and am told that this means that I have been accepted for a work visa here in Japan 100%.
It may take a week or two for the actual work visa to be put on the passport, but nonetheless I wanted to take the time to acknowledge that this is confirmation that I am in the right place for this season.
